What makes the St. Peter Jaycees such an exciting organization?

Commitment:  The St. Peter Jaycees, a nonprofit organization, was originally founded in 1957. We are committed to improving our community and ourselves through actively participating and volunteering in local events.

Friendships:   Many of our members join the St. Peter Jaycees to meet new people and as a result, lasting friendships are built with other members.  Members have many things in common with each other: they are people who love their community and want to give something back by making a contribution.

Leadership:  The Jaycees have many leadership opportunities both at the local and state level. If you are interested in developing your leadership and organizational skills, you may be well suited for one of the many board positions. There are also many opportunities to chair or co-chair an event which is a fun challenge in itself. The possibilities are endless.

Our Mission Statement:  Develop and maintain individual, community, and personal awareness while building lasting friendships.

The Jaycee Creed

We believe:

That faith in God gives meaning
and purpose to human life;

That the brotherhood of man
transcends the sovereignty of nations;

That economic justice can best be won
by free men through free enterprise;

That government should be of laws
rather than of men;

That earth’s great treasure lies in
human personality;

And that service to humanity
is the best work of life
!
